We can never imagine things would change so quickly. 2 years ago, I was a new hire trainee, and now, I’m already handling my own team. It’s never an easy task to be a supervisor, since there are diverse personalities within the team. I guess, the best way to handle such complexities is to understand and be flexible enough to know their nature.
I’m actually fond reading quotes, and even trying to install specific CMS applications just to see how it works. I guess, the only CMS that I’m comfortable using is Wordpress. I quite remember the struggles I have undertaken when I was an agent, such technical stuffs are too jargon for me to understand. But I guess, if you keep on doing it, you get to familiarize its roundabouts. It was somehow a refresh of the past, since I was having a lot of struggle recreating my blog, but then the older one has functionality that no longer beneficial. So now Im starting a new one, somehow a start for a new beginning.
But let me try to share some part of my past, its a memorabilia of my previous teams that i have been. Well, if you don’t know I’m working in a Webhosting Company here in the Cebu, Philippines. Before I become a supervisor, I have been a Technical Suport Representative, the one who caters customers with their queries, the one who solves problems and hoping that would satisfy every customers. Nevertheless, you can never make everybody happy, well, its what I always think of whenever I get an irate customer. So let me share my memorabilia’s of my previous team.
Twisted Minds – this is my very first team. 1and1 was still located in I2 building.
After the resignation of my first supervisor, the team decided to change its name to
Reloaded. (December 2007 -May 21 2009 )
It was the last day that I have spent my time them @ 1and1 Summer Party 2009
So, I started handling Teampura, and was able to learn a lot from them. It was not an easy ride, it was a tough one, though I didn’t passed with flying colors, but I became more aware.
First teambuilding with Teampura @ Malapascua ; then 2nd was in Bantayan Island.
I have been with the team for about a year and a month. May 22, 2009 – July 03,2010. Well I’ll be missing them, with all the hardships and struggles we went through.
Time is so swift and fragile, that we can never understand how things are possible with changes in a blink of the eye. I made a decision to move out from the team, since the graveyard schedule, hinders me to spend time with my kids. So I took the offer, to handle a different team, Data Verification Representatives. At first, I was quite juggling my head, if I should accept the offer, but then I realize that my kids are much prioritize than anything else, and since I heard feedbacks about how mind blowing their attitudes are. But, I was able to manage, I took the challenge. 24 agents are a lot to handle, but its an obstacle that I know I can surpass. Level and understand with them, you don’t need to be someone dominant. So far, so good…well, for now. I know everyday is a hurdle, and believing in myself is the only tool, that in every falls, in every hurdles that I encounter in life, there’s always a lesson.
